Principal
David Fetherstonhaugh is a Principal at DVx, where he refines the firm’s investment process and leads diligence on new ventures and external investments. David evaluates business models, market opportunities, and execution plans, driving assessments of strategic fit, financial viability, and operational readiness across DVx companies.
Before joining DVx, David was on the investment team at Mithril Capital Management, a global technology investment fund founded by Peter Thiel and Ajay Royan. At Mithril, he evaluated unconventional, high-conviction opportunities across sectors and stages, from frontier technology to late-stage growth.
He worked with portfolio companies including Auris, C2FO, Classy, Palantir, Spaceflight (BlackSky), and SilverRail, supporting internal funding rounds and M&A. He was also involved in the diligence and execution of new investments such as GreyOrange and Oklo.
Prior to Mithril, David worked in Investment Banking at BMO Capital Markets and graduated from McGill University.
